Once again with WPMU DEV, the devil is in the detail.
My version of ‘Directory’ plugin is out of date:
There is a new version of Directory available on WPMU DEV. View version 2.2.6.5 details or Install WPMU DEV Dashboard to update.
For reasons detailed here, I cancelled my WPMU DEV some time ago, so can I update? = No.
Even though I was led to believe I could after cancelling my membership, it appears you can use a plugin but not update it.

Every download at WPMU DEV is 100% GPL so you can cancel your membership at any time and carry on using our plugins and themes on as many sites for as long as you like.
Once again, I was disappointed to read this FAQ, as it is misleading.
Yes, I am still using the ‘Directory’ plugin, but what I cannot do after I have cancelled my membership, is UPDATE it to the lasest version.
Can I buy a single plugin or theme?

No, I don’t believe WPMU DEV go out of there way to mislead customers but this and my other concerns clearly show it does.
FIX
Try searching Google as some WPMU DEV plugins have been rebranded by as their own.
I have not been able to find a replacement for the ‘Directory’ plugin, so we are using it as is, out of date.
This also happened with another plugin from WPMU DEV, except this plugin is a rebrand. I found it here. Uninstalled WPMU DEV, deleted WPMU DEV , reinstalled the new one, and everything worked as before except now it’s updateable.
