My latest pet hate is requests to complete a “short survey” or “offer feedback”.
They almost always take more than a few minutes, meaning its costing me time and money.
They are taking longer and longer, more questions, and on one survey, asking questions that were not related to the interaction.
- After a purchase online
- After requesting assistance
- After responding to a ticket
- After delivery
Time to pay
Hey, I understand why you want the feedback but in future, if you want my time and opinion, then companies need to pay.
I want an incentive for my valuable time and knowledge.
If my feedback matters, then pay for it

Next week, we’ll send you a short survey about your experience working with us. The aim is to gather your input and feedback to guide our focus and strategy for 2025. It’s your chance to make a difference and shape the future of our partnership.
Please participate in our ten-minute survey – hosted on one of our trusted third-party survey platforms – which you’ll receive in your inbox later next week.
The AIM is to get free information!
The focus is information that they need to pay for!
