Before Sendy… (pre 2025)
Well, well, well.. how time changes the world.
Once apon a time, I was in the aWeber corner but as we got into 2025, circumstances had me reviewing the service.
Reasons to review..
- Cost – aWeber costs had creeped up year after year including an annual fee that is hidden until the invoice lands each year.
- Software – the templates are shocking, they never align with my needs. Then they took away the WYSIWYG editor. They tried making it sound like they were doing everyone a favour. I have no idea why it was removed but it just made everything so much harder.
- Support – they live in another world, and it ain’t my world. Very defensive, way too many survey’s and frankly, they don’t listen.
- Loyalty – after 10 years as a loyal customer, never had a billing issue, they chose to not send a campaign citing account outstanding. I had updated my credit card two days prior but there systems had not detected the change. It made me feel loyalty meant nothing.
and now.. OMG.. it’s brilliant = SENDY
