Ripesite: Australia’s First CMS

Australia’s first CMS, RipeSite was designed and built by Ripefruit Media.

Developer Brian King in partnership with programmer David Ziguras commenced planning, designing and building the software structure in 2002.

Incorporating Microsoft Internet Explorer developer functionality coupled with:

RipeSite Content (CMS) Content Management System

RipeSite is web-based software enabling professional website management by the everyday business owner.. ie no skills required.

RipeSite comprises a full suite of user-friendly tools designed for novice-level users but with the power to create and maintain a professional web site like this one.

RipeSite is a 100% complete web solution : content management, e-commerce, contact forms, link and mail management.

Let RipeSite guide you through the maze and get your web site up and running.

History

RipeSite was decommissioned in 2012 when Microsoft ceased updating and subsequently removing the developer module from it’s web browsers.

Ripefruit introduced a migration package exporting / importing content in favour of it’s recommended replacement: WordPress

The team behind RipeSite met with representatives from WordPress at WordCamp Melbourne in 2013.
